Overview Steers has a long history in South Africa and is a truly home-grown brand. It was founded in 1970 by George Halamandaris, with the first Steers restaurant opening in Jeppe, Johannesburg - one of the first fast food venues ever in South Africa. Since then, Steers has grown to more than 400 restaurants countrywide. They introduced the first drive-thru concept in 1997 and a delivery service in 2008. Steers offers mainly beef burgers but also various vegetarian and chicken burgers, subs, sandwiches and chips. Steers are well known for their Wacky Wednesday special - a two for the price of one burger special offered only on Wednesdays. Their food has won various awards, such as "Best Hamburger", "Best Chips", "Brand Builder of the Year" and "Franchisor of the Year" by various organisations such as FASA and Leisure Options. Steers is part of the Famous Brands group of companies. Business Listings Showing 3 businesses in the category Steers in Northern Cape: |
