Bingo is card game often played as a means of gambling in South Africa. As such is offered by many casinos and dedicated bingo halls. It is also played as a past time, with organisations such as old age homes and churches offering free bingo meetings. Recently, many online bingo website started to appear. Bingo is a game of chance where the player is required to match randomly drawn numbers against numbers printed on a 5x5 card. The card can either be pre-printed on paper or is electronically displayed. Once a player has five numbers in a straight line, he or she shouts out the word Bingo! to claim a prize or jackpot.
